Zeese Features Plans for a 21st Century Economy
On Tuesday night, the Unity Convention of the Zeese For Senate Campaign will feature representatives of the three parties that nominated him, Green, Populists, Libertarians as well as Democrats, Republicans and Independents who support him. There will be speakers who work for the issues Zeese is advocating -- Peace, Justice, Democracy and Prosperity. The event is being held at the University of Baltimore, 1420 Maryland Ave. at 7 PM.
Zeese will put forward his plan for an "Economy for the 21st Century" including his tax plan where the first $100,000 in income is not taxed as part of the federal income tax, transitioning from a 19th/20th Century fossil fuel economy to a clean sustainable 21st Century economy, making health care available to all, transitioning from corporate welfare to taxpayer investment and re-building the failing U.S. infrastructure.
"Unless the United States faces up to its international, federal and personal debts, and creates an economy that is fair for all we will not be the economic leader for the 21st Century. There are fundamental problems in our economy that are undermining employment and income, degrading our environment and resulting in an economy that benefits the wealthy special interests and not for all Americans," said Zeese. "My plan for an economy for the 21st Century will get America on track to continue to be an economic leader throughout this Century, an economy where small businesses can flourish and where the middle class grows stronger and more secure."
Another note, Kevin Zeese will be appearing on Maryland Public Television tonight at 7:30 PM on the public affairs show "Direct Connection."
