On April 24, 2006, in Georgetown, in Washington, DC, Kevin Zeese of Democracy Rising discussed the issues of the Iraqi War, Iran, Palestine and the influence of the poweful Israel Lobby on those subjects. He is presently a candidate for the U.S. Senate in Maryland. Zeese, to date, has received the endorsement of the Populist, Green and Libertarian Parties in his bid for the Senate seat, presently held by the retiring Paul S. Sarbanes.
