Montgomery County, MD: Tonight, U.S. Senate candidate Kevin B. Zeese will
be joining in commemoration of 2,000 soliders killed in Iraq by participating in
civil disobedience in front of the White House.
"The U.S. government is participating in an illegal occupation of Iraq.
The war was justified on false pretenses and Iraq was no threat to the United
States or its neighbors. Polls show the public opposes the war and wants U.S.
troops to return home, yet not one U.S. senator has voted to stop the funding of
the occupation," said Zeese. "When the government refuses to listen to the
people then extraordinary measures must be taken -- including civil
disobedience."

in 2004 Presidential Campaign Unite Behind Zeese
Montgomery County, MD: Today, Kevin
Zeese for U.S. Senate announced that two former rivals in the 2004
presidential race have endorsed Zeese's campaign in Maryland. In
their joint statement they said:
“Kevin Zeese's run for the U.S. Senate will build the Green Party
in Maryland and nationally, and provide the Greens with a strong
candidate who is an effective advocate for Green values. Kevin Zeese
has shown himself to be persistent in his quest for peace, justice,
democracy and prosperity. He has 30 years of credible leadership
experience in advocating for social, racial and economic justice with
national credentials and name recognition in a number of movements
including the anti-war, democracy and drug policy and criminal
justice reform movements. Therefore, we endorse Kevin Zeese for the
U.S. Senate.”
David Cobb was the Green Party's
presidential candidate in 2004. Peter Miguel Camejo was the vice
presidential candidate in Ralph Nader's presidential campaign.
