Wikipedia has edited its way into the big time.

The massive user-driven site is now the biggest encyclopedia in the world. The mainstream media covers it extensively. It was recently lampooned by The Onion and Comedy Central. Soon, Wikipedia may also become familiar to thousands of people without internet access -- selected articles from its extensive database will come pre-packaged with MIT's $100 laptop project.

FREDERICK, Md. - The Maryland Green Party is proposing a lawsuit challenging the Army's plans for an expanded biological defense laboratory at Fort Detrick in Frederick, two of the group's congressional candidates said Tuesday.

Senate candidate Kevin B. Zeese and 6th District House candidate Bob Kozak cited a July 31 Massachusetts state court ruling ordering further environmental review of a proposed Boston University biodefense lab. The Massachusetts decision "really energizes us and gives us hope," Kozak said.

Kevin Zeese got right to it in his opening remarks at a Forum, entitled, “Independent Solutions for the Middle East Crisis.” It was held in the town’s City Hall on Thursday evening, Aug. 17, 2006, in the Council Chambers. Zeese said: “The dividing line between peace candidates and pro war candidates is no longer opposition to the Iraq War. It is whether they oppose the premeditated destruction of Lebanon and a military attack on Iran.”/p>
