An Independent "Unity for Change" Campaign for the Senate
Kevin ZeeseI'm running for U.S. Senate because the two major parties no longer represent the interests of most Americans. A recent poll described in July 16 th Economist, asked voters if they thought their elected officials represented their priorities. Only 17 percent said yes. And, if we look at the policies being put in place by those in office we repeatedly see that the American people are correct – their views are unrepresented. Read more...
Washington Post Covers Zeese-Cardin Conflict Over Israel's Terrorizing of Civilians
Thursday, 20 July 2006

Excerpt  Zeese comments:

Kevin Zeese, a Green Party hopeful for the U.S. Senate seat from Maryland, sent a letter challenging Cardin, who is seeking the Democratic nomination in the race, for supporting what Zeese called Israel's "terror military policy."

Blogger Interview:  "Monoblogue -- News From the Eastern Shore"

Kevin Zeese On Climate Change

Maryland candidate Kevin Zeese answered 10 questions this blogger emailed, including a questions about gas prices.

We need to restructure our economy for the 21st Century, part of that is shifting from a fossil fuel economy — that is causing terrible environmental damage to our water (including the Chesapeake) and air, but most significantly to the climate change that will cause chaotic weather. We need to move quickly on a variety of fronts to increase efficiency and use technology that minimizes fossil fuels. This includes transportation, home, business and government buildings. For all of these areas we have solutions and applying them will actually grow the economy and create new businesses. If we do not act to manage this transition it will be forced upon us by crisis. We need urgent action in this area.
